My Story

Why I Do This Work

I became a loan officer because I was tired of watching good deals die at the hands of lenders who didn't understand the investor mindset. Long timelines, vague communication, last-minute surprises at the closing table — it wasn't acceptable. There's a better way to lend.

At Rain City Capital, I found a company that shares that belief. Founded in Seattle in 2009, Rain City was built on the idea of putting borrowers first — and since then has funded over $2 billion across 7,000+ transactions nationwide. We're not a quick-buck operation. We make decisions for the long term.
